Kathmandu, March 7: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said that although his personal relationship with the Nepali Congress was good, he had to change his path due to political reasons. Addressing the House of Representatives on Thursday, Prime Minister Dahal explained that he had to change the alliance due to the recent developments.
“I want to say responsibly that in the previous power coalition, the person Pushpa Kamal Dahal was not in any problem or trouble as the Prime Minister,” he said, “Neither was my position as Prime Minister insecure.” There was no problem between the Nepali Congress leadership and me. If we consider stability for the sake of stability, then it was not a problem, he said.
He thanked Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba and other leaders for their support and cooperation for 11 months. He said, “There is harmony in our personal relationship even now.”
Prime Minister Dahal said he thinks political results are more decisive than personal relationships in politics. After that, he said, another psychology developed within the Maoist Center regarding the betrayal on the Maoist candidate in the National Assembly election.
Dahal said that it was like condemning the alliance without reference in the NC Mahasamiti meeting. He said that the activities carried out in the name of religion and the documents of the Mahasamiti have created a situation where we could live together.
