Kathmandu, February 4: Supporters of the monarchy staged a demonstration in front of the Narayanhiti Royal Palace in the capital. They staged a demonstration demanding the restoration of the monarchy with a Hindu nation in the country. The protesters, carrying the national flag, raised slogans in favour of the monarchy.
Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) lawmaker Dhaval Shumsher Rana said the party leaders were ready to launch the final movement in the country. He said that monarchy with Hindu nation has becoming mandatory to take the country forward.
Different pro-monarchy groups including RPP Nepal and the Durga Prasain led group also joined hands to launch a final movement starting on 13 February.
