
Kathmandu, January 20: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal and Sri Lankan President Ranil Wickremesinghe held a meeting today. The two leaders held a sideline meeting in Kampala, Uganda, during the 19th Summit of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) member states.
During the meeting, Prime Minister Dahal stressed the need for regional cooperation and cooperation between the two countries in mutual interest as Nepal and Sri Lanka were standing together on the issues of non-aligned foreign policy.
Stressing the need to make the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) active and dynamic, PM Dahal stressed the need to play a common role in the same. He stressed the need to address regional cooperation and issues of common interest by making SAARC dynamic.
