Kathmandu, January 13: Pakistani Ambassador Abrar H. Hashmi paid a courtesy call on newly appointed Foreign Secretary Sewa Lamsal in the Foreign Ministry on Friday, January 12.
The Ambassador extended congratulations for Lamsal’s assumption of office and also handed over a congratulatory letter by Muhammad Syrus Sajjad Qazi, Pakistan’s Foreign Secretary to Lamsal.
During the meeting, Lamsal and Hashmi discussed the whole gambit of bilateral relations: reviving mechanisms, cooperation in education, trade, travel, climate change, and SAARC, among others.
Ambassador Hashmi wrote on “X”:
“What a pleasure meeting new foreign secretary of Nepal Amb @sewa_lamsal. Congratulated her on assuming office & delivered a letter from FS @syrusqazi. Discussed whole gambit of bilateral relations: reviving mechanisms, coop in edu, trade, travel, climate change & SAARC etc.”
