
Kathmandu, 30 December: A task force has been formed to implement the three-point agreement between the Communist Party of Nepal and the government. A six-member task force has been formed to implement the three-point agreement in a meeting between Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal and CPN General Secretary Nekrabikram Chand Biplav on Friday morning.
The task force is comprised of Deputy General Secretary Barshman Pun as the coordinator and Nepali Congress spokesperson Khadga Bahadur Bishwakarma. Accordingly, Anil Sharma, Uma Bhujel and advocate Ekraj Bhandari are included in the task force. Minister Rekha Sharma and Madhav Sapkota are the members of the task force.
The Kathmandu District Court issued an arrest warrant against the CPN leaders, including General Secretary Biplab, to appear in court within 35 days for crimes against the state. The Samajwadi Front expressed dissatisfaction after the order was issued.
