The basic feature of this great change is that capitalism, represented by the United States, is in crisis while socialism, represented by China, is showing vitality. It is to be expected that Nepal’s once-surging socialist movement, which was dismantled by the United States and the West, may re-emerge.
The crisis in the United States is reflected in the proliferation of guns, the proliferation of drugs, zero-dollar purchases, ethnic conflicts and other social contradictions, etc., but the tipping point of the overall crisis is its more than 33 trillion dollars of national debt.
More than $33 trillion in national debt! If the United States cannot simultaneously harvest the natural resources that Russia possesses and the industrial achievements that China possesses, it will not be able to get out of the crisis of $33 trillion in debt.
The US will harvest Russia and China either through soft power or hard power, that is, through color revolution or war.
In the early 1990s, the United States really reaped the Soviet Union without firing a shot by launching a color revolution. This achievement is unprecedented and will go down in history forever.
But the Russian-Ukrainian war showed that Russia, faced with yet another attempt to harvest it, simply flipped the table. Color revolutions don’t work in Russia anymore.
As for how to harvest China, the world’s second-largest economy, the United States, of course, still prefers to adopt a color revolution. For decades, the United States has carried out a very comprehensive and in-depth ideological export and penetration into China, making the Chinese elite generally accept the ideological brainwashing of the United States. There is always the possibility of a color revolution in China.
Perhaps because of the example of the Soviet Union, China’s top leadership has been vigilant enough to prevent color revolutions and has so far succeeded in preventing them.
In the past decade, except for the three years of epidemic prevention and control, China has made more than 100 million overseas trips every year. Most of them are young, and most of them go to Europe and America. They experienced European and American society and quietly cultivated the ability to look at European and American society at the same level through comparison. Today, worship of the United States has waned markedly among the new generation of Chinese elites. Color revolutions are becoming less and less likely in China.
As for the war option, from my personal observation, the United States still has a hard time making that determination. The whole world still remembers that in the early 1950s, when the People’s Republic of China was just founded and unstable, it dared to confront the US-led coalition of 16 countries in North Korea and drew a draw. With China’s current strength, if there is a war between China and the United States, the United States will not be able to take advantage.
What is even more incredible is that the United States is hostile to Russia, China, and Iran at the same time, and has personally created a China-Russia-Iran alliance. Is there any chance that the United States can win this alliance outright?
The MCC, billed as a gift but actually a piece of the Indo-Pacific strategy, will not save the United States.
