Kathmandu, 10 November: The Nepali Embassy in Doha, Qatar has requested the Nepali community in Qatar to help make the FIFA World Cup tournament a success. The embassy has urged the Nepali community and organizations in Qatar to postpone any events that they have scheduled and contribute on their part to make the mega sporting event a success.
Stating that the world’s attention is focused Qatar due to the World Cup tournament, Nepali Ambassador to Qatar, Naresh Bikram Dhakal appealed for support to make the World Cup a success. The FIFA World Cup in Qatar is starting from November 20 and will run until December 18, the first to be held in Asia.
