Morning shows the day. How inefficient is our government, that can be assumed from the delay in the business operation of the rail which has been stock in Janakpur for more than one and a half years!
Every day, the rail rolls without passengers spending diesel and waiting for a formal inauguration date to operate the passenger service. Is there a need for a formal inauguration to provide service to the passenger?
Nepalis are happy
Every year, the livelihood of Nepali citizens is becoming difficult. Though, according to a UN survey, Nepalis are the happiest people among the people from the South Asian nations. What a surprise! Maybe, the census had taken with the political leaders as politics is the flourishing business in Nepal and politicians are the happiest creatures in Nepal.
According to a report, the teachers are quitting their job to join politics as they saw it as a lucrative business!
If you need to go to the government offices!
A cartoon has become much viral this week. The cartoon speaks that if needed to give trouble to anybody, one should pray for the person receiving service from the government offices.
If you have to renew your driving license, please wake up at midnight and stand in a queue waiting for your turn. After completing one process, you have to go to another line and the same process will continue for several days.
If you need to get a passport, please stand up in the queue for the whole night to get your turn the next day!
The same applies to other government offices providing service to the commoners.
Loottantra
The election Commission gets a chance to loot the government coffer only during the election season. This is the election season and the Commission has called tender for printing works from the private press. The Commission has a newly purchased automatic printing machine but according to the Commission spokesperson, the machine is out of order and needed millions of rupees to repair. Therefore, it has decided to print necessary documents in the private press.
This is an example of loot, however, it is tolerable as the Commission gets such a chance only during the elections. For many offices, every day is a sweet day!
Nepal is an agricultural country
Nepal is still an agricultural country but the country, in the past seven months of the present fiscal year, has imported above 50 billion rupees worth of food items from foreign countries.
