Kathmandu, 7 February: Nepali Congress has assigned former minister Dr Prakashsharan Mahat as the spokesperson of the party.
Party president Sher Bahadur Deuba has assigned Mahat to the post.
Mahat, president Deuba’s confidant, had contested at the post of the party general secretary in the party voting during the 14th national convention of the party. He was defeated in the election.
