Kathmandu, 11 October: Covid-19 infection case in Nepal has declined by 60 percent, according to the Ministry of Health and Population.
Ministry spokesperson Dr Krishna Prasad Poudel said the number of infections had dropped by 60 percent in a month.
According to him, 40,338 people were actively infected in the first week of August, but now that number has reached 15,942 in the first week of September. He believes that vaccinations against the coronavirus also contributed to the significant decline in the number of infections.
