Kathmandu, 9 September: Nepal recorded a total of 1,640 new cases of Covid-19 and 10 fatalities on Wednesday taking the country’s coronavirus caseload 773,529 according to the Ministry of Health and Population.
Moreover, the countrywide Covid-19 mortality toll jumped to 10,889 while the total coronavirus recoveries dropped to 733,161 with 2,161 discharges . The country’s active Covid-19 case count currently is 29,479. The Kathmandu Valley recorded as many as 349 infections today while Lalitpur and Bhaktapur recorded 150 and 69 respectively.
