Kathmandu, 15 August: Nepal recorded a total of 2,212 new cases of Covid-19 and 33 fatalities in the last 24 hours taking the country’s coronavirus caseload 732,691, according to the Ministry of Health and Population.
Moreover, the countrywide Covid-19 mortality toll has jumped to 10,292 while the total coronavirus recoveries has dropped to 682,682 with 1,837 discharges today. The country’s active Covid-19 case count currently is 39,298. The Kathmandu Valley recorded as many as 522 infections today while Lalitpur and Bhaktapur recorded 154 and 63 respectively.
