Kathmandu, 3 August: Nepal recorded a total of 2,448 new cases of Covid-19 and 24 fatalities in the last 24 hours taking the country’s coronavirus caseload reached 702,097, according to the Ministry of Health and Population.
Moreover, the countrywide Covid-19 mortality toll has jumped to 9,922 while the total coronavirus recoveries has dropped to 660,116 with 1,994 discharges today. The country’s active Covid-19 case count currently is 32,059. The Kathmandu Valley recorded as many as 613 infections today while Lalitpur and Bhaktapur recorded 177 and 114 respectively.
