Kathmandu, 1 August: Nepal recorded a total of 2,568 new cases of Covid-19 and 18 fatalities in the last 24 hours taking the country’s coronavirus caseload reached 695,389, according to the Ministry of Health and Population.
Moreover, the countrywide Covid-19 mortality toll has jumped to 9,857 while the total coronavirus recoveries has dropped to 656,197 with 2,020 discharges today. The country’s active Covid-19 case count currently is 31,298. The Kathmandu Valley recorded as many as 594 infections today while Lalitpur and Bhaktapur recorded 166 and 91 respectively.
