Kathmandu, 18 July: Prime Minister and President of Nepali Congress (NC) Sher Bahadur Deuba is likely to pass the floor test as Janata Samajbadi Party-Nepal (JSPN) Mahantha Thakur faction has also decided to support the NC led government.
With 61 lawmakers of NC and 49 of CPN-Maoist Center, and JSP 32 lawmakers Duba is likely to secure vote of confidence even without support from CPN-UML dissident faction led by JN Khanal and Madhav Kumar Nepal. Voting is taking place in the House of Representatives later this evening.
