Kathmandu, 17 July: On Saturday, Nepal recorded an additional 1,875 new Covid-19 cases, taking the caseload to a total of 6,65,886. The death toll from the infection has climbed to 9,527 with 21 deaths, according to the Ministry of Health and Population.
So far, 630,407 infected people have recovered with 2,164 in the past 24 hours.With this, the country has 25,952 active cases. The recovery rate stands at 94.7 percent. There are 5,540 active cases in Kathmandu, 908 in Bhaktapur, and 951 in Lalitpur. Nepal recorded 165 fatalities in the last seven days.
