Kathmandu, 10 May: The disgruntled faction of the ruling CPN-UML led by Madhav Kumar Nepal and Jhalanath Khanal has decided to abstain from voting in the House of Representatives today. A meeting of the faction decided to this effect, according to law maker Bhim Rawal. Some 20 members of the faction at the HoR will not cast their votes, as per the decision. “Voting in favor of Oli will only promote nepotism and weaken democracy, therefore we’ve decided to abstain from voting” leader Rawal said after the meeting.
