Kathmandu, 4 May: The government has announced the construction of 1,000-bed temporary hospital in Kathmandu and all the seven provinces. Addressing the nation on Monday, Prime Minister Khadga Oli stated that the Nepal Army has been instructed to build a 1,000 temporary hospital in all seven provinces and the federal capital immediately.
He also announced that all big hospitals including government and private hospitals will be operated as Covid dedicated hospitals. The new building of Bir Hospital and Trichandra Military Hospital of Nepal Army and multi-bed medical colleges in the Kathmandu VAlley will be converted into Covid dedicated hospitals, according to Oli.
