Kathmandu, 25 April: The government has stated that it is not in mood of imposing nationwide lockdown anytime soon.
Talking to media persons briefly after the meeting of the General Convention Organizing Committee of the ruling CPN-UML, Foreign Minister Pradeep Kumar Gyawali said, “Though lockdown is an effective tool to break the coronavirus spread rate, it’s not a long-term solution. Our focus will be on creating public awareness among the citizens and enforcing the health protocols. Taking stock and assessment of the situation at the local level depending upon the rate of virus surge, the concerning local level may impose it.”
