Kathmandu, 11 April: A gold entrepreneur was shot dead in Siraha last night. Pradip Biswakarma,38, a resident of Lahan municipality-22 was shot dead allegedly by looters who had come to loot his shop. Pradip’s wife Amrita Biswakarma was injured in the incident that took place last night, according to Central Police News Section.
The Biswakarma couple was reportedly shot at after trying to stop the looters, who had barged into the shop by breaking off the door, A police team that reached the site immediately after being informed arrested two people as they were about to flee. Investigation into the incident is underway.
