Kathmandu, 10 April: Nepal continues to witness resurgence of Covid-19 cases every other day. On Saturday the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) has confirmed 337 fresh cases of corona virus infection across the country in the past 24 hours. With the latest addition, the number of infected persons has reached 279,725.
The Bagmati province recorded 242 infection cases, according to the MoHP. Today 151 corona virus patients were discharged from various health institutions across the country following recovery. With this, the total number of recoveries stands at 273,886. As of today, there are 2,800 active cases of infection across the country.
The number of the death-toll from the deadly virus has reached 3,039 with one fatalities reported today, according to the Ministry of Health and Population.
