Kathmandu, 3 April: Nepal continues to witness resurgence of Covid-19 cases every other day. On Saturday the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) has confirmed 128 fresh cases of corona virus infection across the country in the past 24 hours. With the latest addition, the number of infected persons has reached 277,768.
The Kathmandu Valley recorded 69 infection cases, according to the MoHP. Today 161 corona virus patients were discharged from various health institutions across the country following recovery. With this, the total number of recoveries stands at 273,123. As of today, there are 1,613 active cases of infection across the country.
The number of the death-toll from the deadly virus has reached 3,032 with one fatality reported today, according to the Ministry of Health and Population.
