Kathmandu, 1 April: Maoist Center’s chief whip Dev Gurung, addressing the Parliament Wednesday said that PM Oli should ensure a vote of confidence from the House by 7 April.
Gurung claimed that since the 7 March Supreme Court verdict, the Nepal Communist Party has been divided into two parties and the present government doesn’t qualify as the government of a majority party. Therefore, Oli has to show a vote of confidence.
Gurung said that the Maoist Center doesn’t need to withdraw its support to the government.
