
Kathmandu, 30 March: Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist Centre) chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal has filed a petition at the Supreme Court seeking a review of the decision on a case related to the party’s name – Nepal Communist Party (NCP).
The Supreme Court on March 7 passed a verdict in favor of the NCP with Rishi Kattel as the party chairperson and declared that the then CPN (UML) and the then CPN (Maoist Centre) were legally separate parties. Dahal reached the Supreme Court and registered the application for review of the apex court’s verdict regarding the party’s name.
