Kathmandu, 29 March: Prime Minister K.P. Sharma Oli and speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota held a two-hour-long meeting at Baluatar Sunday afternoon. The meeting was held as per the request made by the speaker.
The Baluatar sources informed that speaker Sapkota had requested the PM to give business to the Parliament. PM Oli is positive to give business to the House but the fear is that the government has not been able to ensure its majority in the Parliament. There are many important bills kept impending in the Parliament. Until confirmation of endorsement of the bills by a majority in the Parliament, the government doesn’t want to present the bills.
However, it is learnt that speaker Sapkota has assured the PM for developing an environment to endorse important bills from the Parliament.
