Kathmandu, 26 March: Police have arrested two persons along with fake currency notes and a printer used for printing notes.
The arrested ones are 35-year-old Gan Bahadur Lopchan, from Rautahat and Maya Tamang, 39, from Makwanpur district, according to Metropolitan Police Circle Kalimati. They were held based on tip off that Lopchan and Tamang had come to Kalanki vegetable market along with fake notes. The police also confiscated 51 notes of Rs 1,000 denomination, 57 notes of Rs 500 denomination.
