Kathmandu, 20 March: President Bidya Devi Bhandari appointed Ramesh Badal to the post of the Attorney General.
Badal was appointed to the post as per the Article 157 (2) of the Constitution of Nepal, Spokesperson at the Office of the President Rup Narayan Bhattarai said in a press statement. Prime Minister Khadga Oli had recommended Badal to the post after Attorney General Agni Kharel resigned.
