Kathmandu, 6 November: Nepal continues to witness resurgence of Covid-19 cases every other day. On Friday. the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) has confirmed 2,909 fresh cases of corona virus infection across the country in the past 24 hours while conducting PCR test of 13,068 persons. With the new addition, the number of infected persons has reached 185,974.
Today 4,500 corona virus patients were discharged from various health institutions across the country following recovery. With this, the total number of recoveries stands at 152,908. As of today, there are 34,905 active cases of infection across the country.
A total of 18 people died of the deadly virus in the past 24 hours. With this the death toll has reached 1070, according to MoHP.
