Kathmandu, 4 October: Nepal continues to witness resurgence of Covid-19 cases every other day. On Sunday the Ministry of Health and Population has confirmed 2,253 fresh cases of corona virus infection across the country in the past 24 hours. With the latest addition, the number of infected persons has reached 86,823.
Today 1,329 corona virus patients were discharged from various health institutions across the country following recovery. With this, the total number of recoveries stands at 64,069. As of today, there are 22,219 active cases of infection across the country.
