Kathmandu, 15 September: Minister for Foreign Affairs Pradeep Kumar Gyawali received 2000 vials of Remdesivir handed over by Ambassador of India to Nepal Vinay Mohan Kwatra in Singha Durbar today.
On the occasion, Gyawali recalled the commitment of the SAARC leaders to work together for fighting the pandemic during the Video Conference hosted by Prime Minister Narendra Modi of India on 15 March 2020, and thanked India for the generous support.
Ambassador Kwatra said that it was the continuation of the partnership and cooperation.
The consignment will be sent to the concerned Ministry/agencies of the Government for the treatment of needy people suffering from Covid-19., according to Minitry of Foreign Affairs.
