Radhika Shakya speaks the truth
A video clipping of Prime Minister and NCP chairman KP Sharma Oli’s spouse Radhika Shakya has become viral among the Nepali people. Shakya, in the video clip, was saying that those old leaders in the party have become busy for nothing. She was hinting towards one after another meeting of the party leaders, who have become old by age, for nothing…nothing fruitful for the nation or the party!
Of course, she is true. Presently, those leaders, who are already in the retirement age, are still fighting to grasp power, from which, the Nepali people have become fade-up!
What co-incident!
The Nepali Congress has suspended some leaders including Gobindaraj Joshi and Pushkarnath Ojha. Joshi was suspended on the charge of defeating NC’s senior leader Ramchandra Poudel, whereas, Ojha has been suspended for defeating Arju Deuba, party president Sher Bahadur Deuba’s wife, during the last general elections. They are the NC leaders who sacrificed their entire life to strengthen the party organization.
In the meantime, NC has decided to welcome a group of former panchas including Sunil Bahadur Thapa, son of a five-time prime minister of Nepal and founding chairman of the Rashtriya Prajatantra Party, who have already quit their mother party RPP and decided to join the Nepali Congress. The NC is waiting for welcoming Thapa and his colleagues whose fathers were demanding death punishment to the NC’s founding leader late BP Koirala!
Interesting!
Comrades in corruption
A stunning report on misuse of 10 billion rupees a year in the name of farmers has been made public by the Office of the Auditor-General. A limited number of people, in the name of farmers, have found misusing 10 billion rupees every year. Eleven projects under agriculture and livestock development are found spending 10 billion rupees a year just for consultation service for the last six years. Projects established for improving the livelihood of the farmers, development and becoming self-reliant on food and livestock, supported by the donor countries are found misusing the fund.
There is the communist government in the country and the comrades have become the ministers in the Ministry. To what extend the comrades are manipulating and misusing the donor country’s fund, this is just an example.
We know the government has announced subsidies for the farmers. We also know that the subsidy amount has been misused by the comrades, whereas, the real farmers are out of reach of such a relief package. Middlemen and brokers closed to the agriculture minister have exploited the fund in the name of establishing cold-stores in different districts.
Not an odd, the comrades are doing politics in the name of those farmers and other exploited people, in reality, they are doing nothing for the upliftment of this group.
Cow-sheds were burnt
Comrade Shakti Basnet is the forest minister. He has claimed that the cottages of those Chepang residing in the Chitwan National Park area were not burnt, only cow-sheds were burnt. Of course, the living standard of those comrades has been changed now. It is not odd that he thus felt the cottages of those poor Chepang were alike the cow-sheds!
