Kathmandu, 22 July: A 49-year-old Chinese woman has succumbed to Covid-19 while undergoing treatment at Maharajgunj-based Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital (TUTH) this morning.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population, She was admitted at the TUTH yesterday evening after she tested positive for corona virus. She was receiving treatment at Pokhara-based Manipal Hospital for a heart-related ailment, from where she was referred to Grande Hospital. . She had tested positive while in Grande and was referred to TUTH. It is the first corona infection death case of a foreigner in Nepal.
