Prime Minister (PM) KP Sharma Oli has returned home Monday following health check-ups in Singapore. The PM had gone to Singapore on August 3 for regular health check-ups at the National University Hospital. He returned home on the ninth day.
“I have returned today from Singapore completing my health check-up. My health condition is normal,” said the Prime Minister in his Twitter handle after returning from Singapore.
“I am grateful to all medical persons involved in my health examination. I want to thank all who expressed concerns over my health condition and wishes for my good health,” the Prime Minister added in his tweet.
However, he did not say anything about the health check-up he underwent.
Prime Minister was welcomed at the VVIP lounge of Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) on his arrival by Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister Ishwor Pokharel, Speaker of House of Representatives Krishan Bahadur Mahara, Chairman of National Assembly Ganesh Prasad Timilsina.
Minister for Foreign Affairs Pradip Kumar Gyawali, other cabinet ministers, leaders and carders of Nepal Communist Party (NCP) had also reached TIA to welcome the Prime Minister.
Prime Minister’s spouse Radhika Shakya, chief advisor Bishnu Rimal, personal secretary Rajesh Bajracharya and personal doctor Dibya Singh had accompanied Prime Ministers in Singapore.
Prime Minister Oli had his kidney transplant some 12 years ago in Apollo Hospital in New Delhi.
