
Kathmandu, Oct 11: Prime Minister Balen Shah said six people have been airlifted from an area affected by the Budhigandaki flood.
In a social media post, he said, “Following flooding in the Budhigandaki River, Nepali Army personnel were deployed by air and land for search and rescue operations.
Six people were airlifted from the Jagat area, which faces a landslide risk. A joint rapid response team based in Kathmandu has also been flown to the area.”
