Kathmandu, September 30: The newly appointed residential ambassadors of five countries to Nepal have presented their credentials to President Ram Chandra Paudel.
At separate special ceremonies held at the Office of the President today, the credentials were presented by Thailand’s Ambassador Donawit Poolsawat, Ambassador of the Federative Republic of Brazil Claudio Raja Gabaglia Lins, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Mohammad Amir Khan, Ambassador of France François Puig-Inza, and Ambassador of the Republic of Korea Park Jae-kyung.
The statement issued by Krishna Bahadur Shahi, spokesperson for the Office of the President, said senior officials of the Government of Nepal were also present at the ceremonies.
The newly appointed ambassadors were escorted in ceremonial horse-drawn carriages from Lazimpat to the Office of the President.
