Kathmandu, October 18: In a press release issued today, Krishna Prasad Dulal, Acting Chief Secretary of the Nepali Congress, said the party had decided to cancel the tea reception event this year as the country is in mourning.
The Nepali Congress has been organizing the tea reception every year, except under special circumstances, since BP Koirala initiated the tradition on Kojagrat Purnima in 2034 BS (1977 AD).
