Kathmandu, Oct 9: Police have seized more than 20 kilograms of gold from Budhanilkantha in Kathmandu.
A team deployed by the Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office recovered the gold during an operation based on a tip-off, police said.
Of the seized gold, 11 kilograms were found in finished form, while more than 10 kilograms were reportedly being kept for processing.
The Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office said it plans to disclose further details about the seizure at a press conference on Friday afternoon.
