South Korean ambassador Park presents credential to President Paudel

Kathmandu, October 1: New ambassador of South Korea, Park Jae kyung, presented his credentials to President Ram Chandra Paudel on September 30, officially assuming his responsibilities as the South Korean Ambassador to Nepal.

Ambassador Park, on the occasion, stated, “I would first like to convey the warm greetings and best wishes of President Lee Jae Myung of the Republic of Korea to the President and people of Nepal”.

“It is a particular pleasure for me to meet the President of Nepal as I begin my mission in Nepal. I have great respect for your long commitment to democracy and public service in Nepal”.

“Korea stands with Nepal during this difficult time and we hope to contribute to the country’s recovery and reconstruction, the ambassador said.

He said, “Korea and Nepal have enjoyed warm and friendly relations for many years. Our two countries have built as strong foundation of friendship through development cooperation, economic exchanges and close ties between our peoples. During my tenure, I will work closely with the Government of Nepal to further strengthen our bilateral relations and bring our two people even closer together”.

“I hope Korea can continue to be a trusted partner of Nepal as the country moves toward a more prosperous and resilient future. I am deeply honored to serve as Korea’s Ambassador to the government of Nepal”, he said.

“We will continue to expand and deepen one of the strongest partnerships that can unite two nations” he remarked.
