Prithvi Highway to fully reopen from today

Dhading, Sept 30: The Prithvi Highway, which was obstructed by landslides following heavy rainfall, is set to fully reopen to traffic from today, Wednesday.

According to the District Administration Office, Dhading, all vehicles will be allowed to travel along the highway from 1 pm, provided there are no fresh landslides or other obstructions.

Traffic is currently operating one way at several locations after landslides and road subsidence damaged sections of the highway.

Drivers and other road users have also been asked to strictly follow traffic rules and road safety measures.

For emergency assistance, the public can contact Nepal Police at 100, Armed Police Force at 1114, or the District Emergency Operation Centre at 1234 or 010-521464.
