Kathmandu, September 28: Preparations to remove the Rhino cruise ship stuck beneath the Narayani River bridge resumed this morning. Technical preparations have been made to safely remove the vessel by 10 a.m.
A crane will also be used to remove the cruise ship. Two excavators were used until late last night to construct an access road so that the crane could reach close to the site where the cruise ship is stuck.
A team of engineers, including the Chief District Officer and the chief of the Road Division Office, Bharatpur, was also engaged in the operation until early this morning.
After a technical study, the local administration has allowed the movement of light vehicles from the Narayani bridge.
