Durga Prasai, coordinator of the National, Nationality, Religion, Culture and Citizens Protection Campaign, has accused the government of mistreating him. He said the government had acted unjustly by preventing him from holding a press conference at the airport.
After being barred from holding the press conference at the airport, Prasai held one at his residence. During the press conference, he said he had many videos concerning the conspiracy behind the destruction of physical structures, including Parliament and Singha Durbar, during the Gen-Z movement last year, and that he would make them public soon.
“This government has mistreated me, and experts should speak on this matter,” Prasai said. “Some experts still behave as if nothing can be done without Balen.”
He said there was no good governance in the country and no environment of trust in the government, adding that investors had stopped coming. Prasai said the country must be protected first and that nationalist forces should stand together for this purpose. He said he had no personal animosity toward Prime Minister Balen and Home Minister Sudhan Gurung, and that he would not oppose them if they did their jobs well.
The police force took Prasai under control at the TIA and later released him after he reached his residence in Bhaktapur.
