Fourth batch of China-aid emergency relief supports arrives in Kathmandu


Kathmandu, September 8: This afternoon the fourth batch of China-aid emergency relief supplies arrived at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, aboard a Y-20A large transport aircraft of the PLA Air Force of China.

Zhang Maoming, Chinese Ambassador, and Mahabir Pun, Minister for Science, Technology and Innovation of Nepal, attended the handover ceremony for the relief supplies.

This newest batch of relief supplies mainly includes rescue hovercrafts, stainless steel permanent magnet flood pumps, spare batteries, mortuary freezers, and solar powered lights. All items are tailored to Nepal’s most urgent needs, and will provide strong support for emergency rescue operations and subsequent work in the disaster affected areas.
