Kathmandu, August 27: Former Queen Mother Ratna Rajya Lakshmi Devi Shah has been discharged from Norvic International Hospital on Wednesday (August 26) after receiving treatment. Shah had been admitted to Norvic Hospital on Sunday and was undergoing treatment after falling ill.
Doctors and nurses at Norvic Hospital provided her with specialized treatment and closely monitored her health. The hospital said she was discharged on Wednesday after her health improved.
Former King Gyanendra Shah, former Queen Komal Rajya Lakshmi Devi Shah, former Crown Prince Paras Shah and former Crown Princess Himani Shah also came to the hospital to take the former Queen Mother home.
Before her discharge, former Crown Princess Himani and former Princess Sitashma Shah wrote messages in the visitor book at Norvic Hospital, expressing special thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff involved in her treatment.
