KATHMANDU: Police searched the house of businessman and political activist Durga Prasai on Thursday evening and seized six mobile phone sets belonging to him and his associates.
The Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office, Teku, conducted the search at Prasai’s residence.
A source at the Kathmandu Valley Police Office, Ranipokhari, confirmed that police had searched Prasai’s house.
Prasai had been under police surveillance since last Friday and had not been allowed to leave his residence.
