Kathmandu, Aug 14: The Nepali Congress (NC) dissident group’s national gathering begins today at Miracle Party Palace in Sukedhara, Kathmandu.
Former party president Sher Bahadur Deuba will inaugurate the gathering at 11:30 am, according to Publicity Committee Coordinator Min Bishwakarma.
The gathering will continue until August 16. Former General Secretary Dr Shashank Koirala is coordinating the event.
The group has become increasingly encouraged after the Supreme Court recently allowed a review of the dispute over the leadership and legitimacy of the Nepali Congress.
