Kathmandu, Aug 14: The proposed ‘Jai Nepal Party’ is set to be registered with the Election Commission today.
The party, led by Dhawal Shumsher Rana as chairperson and Durga Prasai as its supreme leader, is scheduled to register with the commission.
Rana said the Election Commission has given the party an appointment at 12:30 pm for the registration process.
Rana, who split from the Rastriya Prajatantra Party, has formed the new party. He said those who have resigned from the RPP, as well as those who remain in the party but are dissatisfied with its leadership, are expected to join his new party.
