Kathmandu, August 7: A group led by Dhawal Shamsher Rana, former General Secretary of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP), and Durga Prasai, coordinator of the Citizens’ Protection Grand Campaign, has intensified preparations to register a new political party.
A program was organized today to assign responsibilities required for the registration of the new party. The group said it plans to register the proposed party with the Election Commission under the name ‘Jaya Nepal Party.’
The program was organized to advance the organizational structure, division of responsibilities, and other procedures necessary for the formation and registration of the party.
Rana and Prasai have joined hands with the objective of building a new political force. They are preparing to carry out their future political activities through the proposed ‘Jaya Nepal Party.’
The meeting held on Friday discussed the responsibilities and division of tasks related to the registration of the new party. However, the formal registration process with the Election Commission is yet to be completed.
