Kathmandu, May 4 : President Ram Chandra Paudel has returned the government-recommended Constitutional Council (Functions, Duties, Powers and Procedures) (First Amendment) Ordinance, 2026 to the government for reconsideration.
According to a statement issued on Sunday by Presidential Office spokesperson Ritesh Kumar Shakya, the ordinance had been recommended by the Cabinet following its decision on April 27.
