KATHMANDU, April 19: A jeep transporting wedding attendees crashed in Salyan, leaving four people dead.
The accident took place in Puthala of Bangad Kupinde Municipality while the vehicle was heading from Ward No. 8 to Laxmipur in Kalimati. Police said the jeep went out of control before the crash.
All the victims were from Ward No. 8 of the same municipality. Those who lost their lives have been identified as Top Bahadur Thapa, Thage Gharti, Karna Bahadur Pun, and Man Bahadur Thapa.
There were 18 passengers in the jeep. Fourteen sustained injuries and were rescued and taken to Mehelkuna Hospital in Surkhet for medical care.
