Kathmandu, April 10: President Ramchandra Paudel, while addressing the joint session of the Federal Parliament, has urged the government to establish good governance, control corruption, and create employment opportunities in line with the aspirations of the younger generation so that they can remain in the country.
President Paudel has expressed confidence that the current government will succeed in working in accordance with the spirit of the Constitution and the will of the people.
Addressing the joint meeting of the Federal Parliament on Friday, he stated that the 10 years of practice and experience in implementing the Constitution are significant for the country. He said, “The foundational pillars of the federal democratic republic have been institutionalized. From this point, the current government must fulfill the aspirations and sentiments of the people.”
He emphasized that the government should give special attention to improving citizens’ living standards while safeguarding the achievements made in strengthening democracy.
